Here's a little know fact for ya:
Never go to the DMV on the last day of the month. It is a terrible, no good, awful, frustrating idea. Don't do it. Ever.
Two hours later: the commander is officially a Coloradan. Now we just need to put a sticker of a buffalo on it somewhere and we'll be golden.
stressing sidebar: I subconsciously chew my cheeks when I'm stressing. My cheeks are raw right now.

The DMV is never fun. Although I went last month to get the new stickers for the saturn and was only there like 20 minutes. They were incredibly efficient at the Vacaville DMV. I was completely surprised.
