denver sidebar: it is a freezing 5 degrees today and snowing...and somehow they didn't call a snowday. The school was a mess this morning. Who was the genius that thought we should keep the schools open today? I plan on hunkering down with the kids and folding laundry.

You might want to make some cookies and drink LOTS of hot chocolate. That's our plan for the day. We also got snow but no snow day. Kind of a bummer.
